UWEZO collaborates with various institutes providing paid and non paid professional internship to youth graduates in order to secure opportunities for graduates with disabilities. This programmes was initiated in 2014 with a generous funding from VSO Rwanda by which in February 2016, over 25 of 45 youth placed in internship were employed.
UWEZO has developed a data base of youth graduates with disabilities by which opportunity is circuated. This programmes prepares a graduate before placement, Trains the host organizations on disability mainstreaming at work,
Provides mentorship to the youth graduate and create a friendly communication between the intern and the line manager/supervisor And as well offer to youth graduates other required employability skills.
